Eat

So, you like to eat?  So do I!  In fact, that is one of the many pleasures you can have when travelling abroad.  Trying new foods, taking cooking lessons, drinking the local brews.  It can be one of the best parts of your trip!

If you are heading to Europe - don't be afraid to try just about anything on the menu.  From rich French cuisine, to spicy Tapas in Spain, to seafood in Venice, to moussaka in Greece - it can change the way you look at preparing and eating a meal.  One caveat - if you are in Southeast Asia be careful of street foods - they can be great to try or they can give you a very upset tummy!  Just look for ones that are very busy - they are the ones that usually have the freshest food.  In some cultures, nuts are a prominent ingredient, so if you have nut allergies, be careful of street food.  You probably won't be able to ask the vendors what is in the dish, so just be aware so you don't end up ill.  Other than that, enjoy trying the new and different dishes you will find around the world.
